Standom
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the Standom mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). We aim to be transparent and to handle your data responsibly.
Who we are
Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC operates Standom. References to “Standom” mean the app and related features we provide. This policy covers personal information. Rules for using the Service—including that we are not responsible for what other users post or what you may see in the Thread—are in our Terms of Use.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Service.
By creating an account or using Standom, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
Information we collect
Account and authentication: When you register or sign in with email, Apple, or Google, our authentication provider stores identifiers such as your email address, user ID, and sign-in metadata. We do not receive your Apple or Google password. If you use Hide My Email with Apple, we receive Apple’s relay address rather than your personal email.
Profile: We store profile details you provide or that the app creates—such as username, display name, profile photo, pronouns, gender, birthday, and in-app records such as victories. Profile photos are stored in our cloud storage and may be visible to other users (for example on the Thread, in lobbies, and on friend profiles).
Content and activity: We collect information you create or submit— Thread posts, comments, votes, tags, spoiler flags, friend requests and friendships, lobby invites, match participation, draft picks, game results, and related match or game-log history. Some of this content is visible to other users according to the feature (for example public Thread posts).
Support: If you use Profile → Contact us in the app, or email us, we collect the issue type, subject, message, and any screenshot you attach, and we process that request so we can respond.
Technical and device data: We may collect device type, operating system, app version, log and diagnostic data, and a push-notification token if you enable notifications. We also record product analytics events (for example app opened, with session, platform, and app version) to operate and improve the Service.
Preferences on your device: The app may store local settings on your device (for example theme, notification preference, and selected universe). Those settings live on the device unless we also sync a related choice to your account.
We do not require sensitive categories of data beyond what you voluntarily provide in your profile or content. Birthday and similar profile fields are optional where the app allows you to skip them.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate users; show your profile and activity to other users as the features require; operate games, lobbies, social, and Thread features; send notifications you enable; moderate content; respond to support requests; detect, prevent, and address technical, security, or abuse issues; and comply with applicable law.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics, product development, and reporting.
User-generated content you may see
Other users’ posts, comments, profiles, and similar content are stored so the community features can work. We may review or filter some of that content, but we do not undertake to read everything. Automated moderation (including third-party tools) is imperfect. We are not responsible for user-generated content you see or read; that is addressed further in our Terms of Use.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers: We use vendors to run the Service. That currently includes cloud hosting, database, authentication, and file storage; Apple or Google sign-in if you choose it; push-notification delivery; automated content moderation; and support tooling (Contact us may be delivered through a support channel such as a team inbox or chat webhook). Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Other users: Display names, usernames, photos, public posts, comments, votes as shown in the product, friend profiles, lobby rosters, and similar activity are visible to other users according to the feature you use. Your email address is not shown publicly to other players.
Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use or protect the rights, safety, or property of Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law.
Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
When you delete your account, we remove your profile, posts, comments, and friend connections. Some match or game-log history may be anonymized rather than fully deleted so records of past games can remain without identifying you.
When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to backup and technical limitations.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a breach that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your account information under Profile → Edit profile information.
To delete your account, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. For other privacy requests, contact us through Profile → Contact us in the app, or email founder@innovativebeacontech.com. We will respond in line with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
You may opt out of non-essential notifications through the switch on Profile or through your device settings.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required in their jurisdiction (typically 13 in the United States, or higher where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International users
If you access the Service from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed and stored in countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy in the app and on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
Contact
For privacy-related requests or questions about this policy, email founder@innovativebeacontech.com or go to Profile → Contact us in the app. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
